Choosing the Right Sample Service
What dog grooming services are included?
The sample full dog groom includes a bath, blow dry, brushing, nail trim, external ear cleaning, haircut and coat assessment. Starting prices are $80 for small dogs, $100 for medium dogs and $130 for large dogs.
What is included in cat grooming?
The seeded Cat Bath & Comb-Out includes bathing, careful drying, a nail trim and coat comb-out for an eligible cat. The fictional starting price is $110 CAD.
How much is a standalone nail trim?
The sample starting price is $20 CAD. The service is completed only when the pet can be positioned and handled safely.
Are the prices final?
No. Every amount is sample “from” pricing. Size, coat type, coat condition, behaviour, matting, requested finish and additional time can change a real quote.
How long does dog grooming take?
The demo uses approximately 2–4 hours for a full dog groom. Smaller straightforward coats may take less time, while larger, dense, matted or behaviourally complex appointments may take longer.
How long does cat grooming take?
The sample cat bath and comb-out uses approximately 1.5–2.5 hours. The service may be shortened or stopped if the cat cannot be handled safely.

Questions That Need Honest Pet Information
What happens if my pet is matted?
A groomer assesses how tight and widespread the matting is. Extended brushing may be uncomfortable or unsafe, so a shorter clip or service change may be recommended. Additional time can also affect the price.
Can you groom an anxious pet?
Possibly. Share prior reactions, triggers and handling history before the appointment. A qualified groomer must decide whether the visit can proceed, whether it needs modification or whether another setting is safer.
Can GroomAI advise on sedation?
No. Sedation is a medical matter for a veterinarian and qualified salon staff. The assistant must not recommend medication or approve a grooming plan that depends on sedation.
What vaccinations are required?
The provided sitemap does not specify a vaccination rule. A live salon should publish its exact requirements and review exceptions with staff rather than relying on a generic automated answer.
What if my pet has a medical condition?
Disclose relevant information directly to the salon before the appointment. Urgent symptoms, wounds, breathing difficulty, seizures, infection or pain require veterinary attention.
Can a groomer diagnose a skin or nail problem?

How does online booking work?
The demo uses four steps: choose a service, add fictional pet details, select a seeded time, then review consent and test confirmation.
Why is there a 25% deposit?
The deposit demonstrates how a real salon might protect appointment time. On this site it is calculated from sample pricing and shown only in Stripe test mode; no real charge is processed.
What happens if I arrive late?
The fictional policy allows the salon to shorten, move or cancel the appointment when lateness affects the remaining schedule. A live salon should confirm the exact decision directly.
What is the cancellation policy?
The sample policy asks for at least 24 hours’ notice. Late changes and no-shows may forfeit the fictional deposit or require a new one before another demo booking.
What happens if I am late for pickup?
The sample policy expects prompt pickup after notification. Repeated or extended delays can lead to a fictional care fee because the salon must continue supervising the pet.
Can I request a specific groomer?
The demo may show availability for Maya Chen, Jordan Lee or Sam Rivera. All three are fictional profiles, and no real person is assigned.
